if gabe and william let pictures like this get posted on the internet forever
then just think about what they have pictures of that didn’t get posted on the internet hmmm?
To me, the “Except me and him.” statement just implies that they’ve never been able to agree on what their relationship is, or should be. We all know that Gabe has always been more receptive to it anyway, fandom-wise, and William would be the one to shy away (especially later on, since becoming a dad), and just would never be able to agree to the kind of proposition which Gabe would quite easily make, that they ‘get their shit together and do this thing properly’.
They’ve had so many ‘one nights’ because what else could they have? With William coming back every time for more, just one more every time and Gabe letting him because it’s better than nothing. (It’s everything).
And William laughs it off, of course, because he has to.
